Face lifting is a stretching of the skin and wrinkles on the face, accompanied by stretching of the muscles of the face. The incisions pass through the skin folds around the ears and in the hair, making them virtually invisible. The lifting can be combined with fillers, laser resurfacing, dermabrasion and blepharoplasty depending on the needs and judgment of the surgeon. It is performed under general anaesthesia. Forehead lifting is almost not performed due of the existence of BOTOX, which achieves the same results with a much lighter tolerance for the patient. Gynecomastia surgery consists of two main components:

1. Removal of the mammary gland
2. Extracting the surrounding fat tissue

Sometimes it is necessary to remove a skin fold.

The mark is at the bottom of the areola and is practically unnoticeable. The areola shrinks in the post-operative period and becomes small and flat. The surrounding skin shrinks on the underlying tissue. To help this, a special elastic body has to be worn for about a month after the surgery.

The operation is performed under general anaesthesia. The necessary stay at the clinic is one night. For five days a special compression dressing is to be carried. The pain is mild – like muscle fever. Approximately 3 weeks after the operation, heavy physical work and sports should be avoided.

The effect is final – there are no recurrences.

Rhinoplasty is a surgical modelling of the nose after a trauma or for aesthetic needs. There are different techniques depending on the initial and the end result, depending on whether it is necessary to affect the bone part or only the cartilage one; whether it is necessary to reduce the nostrils, to transplant cartilage or to put a prosthesis. In aesthetic rhinoplasty, incision is made inside the nostrils, leaving no visible external scars. Full anaesthesia is required in classical rhinoplasty with bone structure involvement. Provided that a slight correction is made only on the soft cartilage front part of the nose, corrections with local anaesthesia are possible.

What patients need to know before undergoing such surgery.

1. Do not take Aspirin one week before surgery.
2. With full anaesthesia, consultation with an anaesthesiologist is obligatory in the days before the surgery.
3. Blood tests.
4. With full anaesthesia, one overnight stay at the clinic is mandatory.
5. After surgery, bruises appear around the eyes and cheeks that disappear within a few days. There is not much pain.
6. In the post-operative period, there are tampons in the nostrils that stand for 2-3 days, and on the nose there is a plaster dressing for 7 days. The sutures are resorbed.
